I think Ashima has a tough battle ahead of her.Sure she loves Aditya but when you are so fundamentally opposed to a concept and you are confronted with it everyday wouldn't it cause constant quibbles.Yes,when you are in love we accept the whole person but when every area of you life will be affected by the family's values and you stand opposed to certain things that they absolutely cherish wouldn't it be heavy on the relationship.I just wonder how the drawing room conversations would pan out .I think after one or two difference of opinions one of them will choose to keep quiet or one of them would have to take the tough call.Although the constant nook-jhook is an excellent premise for a rom-com novel.Cheers! :D
